Administrator - Retail Services

If you’re organised, confident with numbers, and enjoy improving systems, this is an exciting opportunity to step into a key role within our retail services team. This is a full-time, fixed-term position running from January to November 2026.

About the Role

As our Administrator – Retail Services, you will play a central part in delivering high-quality financial and administrative support to the retail service team at Seeka.

You’ll ensure timely and accurate financial processing, support month-end tasks, manage key reconciliations, and provide reporting and insights that help our teams make informed decisions.

What You’ll Be Doing

Financial & Administrative Responsibilities

Manage and assist with Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processing for retail services.

  *   Complete assigned balance sheet reconciliations each month (Bank, Debtors, Creditors, Accruals & Suspense).

  *   Support month-end processing for the retail services team, including posting manual journals.

  *   Prepare and reconcile payment files.

  *   Carry out FX processing for foreign currency payments.

  *   Support and contribute to improvement initiatives within the wider finance transactional processing Team.

  *   Assist with finance team queries and general administrative support as required.

  *   High-quality outputs that provide confidence to operational and finance stakeholders.

Technical Skills & Experience

  *   3+ years’ accounting or financial administration experience.

  *   Advanced Microsoft Excel capability.

  *   Experience using accounting/ERP systems 

  *   Relevant qualification or equivalent work experience.

  *   Strong numeracy and ability to interpret financial information.

  *   Experience producing clear, accurate reports.

  *   Industry experience in kiwifruit, horticulture, or the primary sector is an advantage.

  *   Proven ability to improve processes or contribute to policy improvements.
