Assistant Packhouse Manager

We are recruiting for an Assistant Packhouse Manager at our Hukapak site in Mt Maunganui. The high energy and fast-paced role requires the ability to assist and support the Packhouse Manager with all operational activities over the site - this is not a role for the faint hearted! Tasks include but are not limited to; quality, productivity, health and safety, compliance, staffing and maintenance so your ability to handle a challenge is important. This is an exciting opportunity if you are a hands on person, enjoy leading a team to success, and are wanting to develop your skills in managing in a dynamic environment.
To be successful in this role, you will need to be/have the following:
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively

- Able to persuade, convince, influence or impress in order to gain support.
- Identifies the root causes and breaks the problem down into the key issues.
- Grasps new concepts and can see the problem in relation to the bigger picture.
- Adapt quickly and effectively to changing situations.
- Experienced in best practice HR, managing people effectively in order to achieve business objectives.
- Awareness of H&S legislative requirements.
- Experience working with and a good understanding of numerical or financial information.
- Role specific knowledge: 2 + years’ experience in similar roles
