This is a seasonal fixed-term role until December, with the potential for ongoing employment from February next year for the right candidate.
About the Role
As a forklift operator, you'll play an important role in keeping our coolstore operations running safely and efficiently by moving and managing kiwifruit pallets.
- Safely operate forklifts in a coolstore environment.
- Work within automated racking systems to store and move pallets.
- Load, unload, stack, and transfer kiwifruit pallets.
- Support daily coolstore operations and ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Follow all health and safety procedures and food safety requirements.
What You'll need
- Proven forklift experience in the kiwifruit industry.
- Experience with automated racking systems.
- Current OSH Forklift Certificate
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and ability to work well in a small team.
- Flexibility to work seasonal hours.
