Equipment Division Manager

We are looking for a Equipment Division Manager to join the Seeka team, based in Kerikeri. 

In this role, you will be in charge of the planning and coordination of spraying, mowing and weed spraying on our orchards in Kerikeri. This will include being in charge of a small team of machinery operators, and ensuring leased and managed orchard irrigation systems are operated when needed.

You will ensure that all plant and machinery is in good working order, that we are being cost efficient and that safety remains our priority at all times.

You will have great communication and coordination skills to ensure you work closely with Orchard Managers to work to their plans.

ABOUT YOU

  • Proven experience leading a team
  • Strong verbal and interpersonal skills
  • Problem solving skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety practices
  • Previous experience working in the horticulture industry
  • Experience operating and maintaining machinery, preferably orchard specific equipment
  • Experience with irrigation systems
  • Class 1 licence with WTR endorsements
