Health & Safety Advisor - Kerikeri

We are looking for a proactive and people-focused Health and Safety Advisor to join our team in the Kerikeri region. Reporting to the Health and Safety Manager, you’ll become part of a collaborative team of six regionally based Health and Safety professionals supporting operations across the business.
This is a fast-paced and hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with leaders and teams across our operations to strengthen Seeka’s health and safety culture, provide practical advice and coaching, and help ensure every person goes home safely every day.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting and promoting continuous improvement across Seeka’s health and safety systems
- Providing practical guidance, coaching and support to managers and employees
- Assisting with compliance, reporting, investigations and risk management activities
- Building strong working relationships across all levels of the business
- Contributing to a positive, engaged and safety-focused workplace culture
- Providing leadership and support within the wider Health and Safety team
What you’ll bring:
- Experience in Health and Safety compliance, engagement, coaching or training
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and compliance practices
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence influencing and engaging with people at all levels
- Strong organisation, prioritisation and problem-solving abilities
- A proactive, self-motivated approach with a continuous improvement mindset
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills and confidence using workplace systems
Qualifications and experience:
- Relevant Health and Safety qualification
- Minimum 2 years’ Health and Safety experience
- Full New Zealand driver licence
