Seasonal Laboratory Assistant – Kerikeri

Verified Lab Services (VLS) is an independent laboratory operating in New Zealand’s key kiwifruit-producing regions — Kerikeri in Northland and Te Puke and Ōpōtiki in the Bay of Plenty.

We provide analytical and monitoring services, including maturity clearance testing, ethylene analysis, and pest monitoring, supporting the kiwifruit, kiwiberry, avocado, citrus, and berry industries.

Our laboratories operate seven days a week, with testing requirements running from early morning through to late evening. 

As a Laboratory Assistant in Kerikeri, you will be responsible for

• Processing and testing fruit samples and
• Supporting general laboratory operations.

We are looking for reliable, honest, and hardworking individuals to join the VLS team and play a vital role in the upcoming kiwifruit harvest.

Roles available:

• Full-time: 6 days/week including weekends
• Part-time: 3 days/week

Placement: Late January – May

Location: Kerikeri - Northland
