Line Manager Katikati

We’re looking for a high-performing Line Manager to take ownership of one of our packing lines and repack operations — driving safety, quality, throughput and team performance every day.
This is a pivotal leadership role where your impact will be seen in our people, our product, and our results.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
As Line Manager, you’ll be accountable for the people management, safety, quality and overall performance of your production lines. You’ll lead from the front, ensuring your team is aligned, engaged and operating at their best.
You will:
- Champion Health & Safety — ensuring policies are implemented, understood and lived on the floor
- Lead, guide and develop Supervisors and line staff
- Ensure Food Safety standards and compliance requirements are consistently met
- Work with with the Employment Officer to ensure the lines are well resourced
- Train and empower Supervisors to build capable, confident teams
- Resolve issues professionally
- Deliver against Pack Plan instructions in collaboration with the Packhouse Manager
- Ensure accurate grower line reporting and data integrity
- Optimise plant, technology and line performance
- Build strong, respectful relationships across your production team

What You’ll Bring
- 2+ years’ experience in a similar post-harvest or production leadership role
- Strong people leadership experience — you know how to motivate, influence and hold accountability
- Practical knowledge of kiwifruit, avocados, horticulture or primary industry
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislative requirements
- Experience implementing company processes and driving compliance
- Solid reporting and numeracy capability
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
