Regional Operations Manager
Focused on orchard-to-market excellence, Seeka is an integrated horticultural and produce company that grows, processes, distributes and markets high quality produce to world markets.
As a Regional Operations Manager across our Kerikeri and Orangewood packhouses, you will enjoy a high energy and fast-paced role, which requires the ability to lead and support teams across multiple sites. You will be a strong communicator with a focus on achieving excellent results for production, quality, compliance and storage while ensuring the safety and well-being of our staff is prioritised. This role is an exciting and challenging opportunity which can require you to work weekends and occasionally into night shift during the peak of kiwifruit season.
The Regional Operations Manager role is responsible for:
- Operational and strategic management of staff across all sites
- Facilitate training of staff in Seeka’s compliance requirements and best practice methods
- Maintaining timely and effective communication of important information to relevant stakeholders
- Ensuring plant and machinery is well maintained and operating safely and effectively
- Managing the implementation of HR, Compliance & HSE processes across sites
- Achieving key measurables for production, quality and storage performance
- Analyse and report on post-harvest financial parameters established for the site
- Assist the Regional Manager with compilation of business performance reporting

- Microsoft Office Suite: Intermediate

- Knowledge of H&S legislative requirements and a driver of best practice H&S
- Qualification: Horticultural qualification or general degree preferred
