Summer Pruning in Kerikeri
We are looking to recruit seasonal Orchard Workers to work in our orchard division in Kerikeri over the summer pruning season. This is a seasonal role which will start around early October. You will enjoy a high energy, dynamic and fast-paced role, working outdoors in nature - just bring your positive attitude and great work ethic!!
About the Work:
Position: Orchard Worker
Location: Orchards in Kerikeri
Contract Type: Seasonal Contract
Period: Starting approx. 5 October for 4-8 weeks
Hourly Rate: $26.00 per hours plus 8% holiday pay
You’ll need to be available to work weekends when required.
Summer Pruning - You will be given training and guidance on what should be pruned, trimmed, or removed. Summer pruning, thinning, bud thinning and tipping are the types of jobs but mostly thinning, no experience required full training will be given.
Your own transport and accommodation will be required, as the orchards are located in a remote and beautiful part of New Zealand. Having your own transport is essential as you will need to travel between different orchards.
There are plenty of beaches, rivers and cycling tracks to enjoy in your time off. It’s also a great place to save money while enjoying the relaxed lifestyle of a quaint rural town.

- Ability to get yourself to orchards, reliable transport
